Libera Education | Liberal Arts for Primary (The Grammar Stage)

The Grammar Stage

"Nurturing the 'sponge stage' child with a foundation of knowledge, memory, and beauty for the 6–12 year old learner."

Our Philosophy

At the Primary stage (roughly ages 6–12), Liberal Education focuses on building a solid foundation of knowledge, language skills, memory, and fundamental virtues.

Following the Trivium's Grammar Stage, children at this age are like "sponges," absorbing vast amounts of facts, rules, and beauty. This stage creates a broad and accurate bedrock for the subsequent Logic (Critical Thinking) and Rhetoric (Expression) phases.

"Not just cramming, but enriching the soul's treasury—accumulating quality 'raw materials' to ignite a love for knowledge and beauty."
